This is what you should know:

Our goal is to ensure a lovely holiday or productive business/relocation trip for our guests. This is what we do on a daily basis from our head office in Amsterdam. We welcome and assist (international) guests on weekends from 10.00 till 15.30. Every day our housekeeping team is preparing the hundreds of apartments and hotel rooms we manage; we do personal check-ins and maintain all apartments we manage throughout Amsterdam.

We have been a leading partner in holiday rental property management services in Amsterdam, since 2014. We ensure that behind the scenes of hundreds of homes, and hotels everything runs smoothly and professionally. We offer a professional back office so owners have their hands free. Our motivated colleagues work with smart solutions and digital platforms to make this possible. We offer the strength of a large hotel chain but maintain a unique character. Every day, we welcome many (international) guests and in the coming years, we are planning on expending our services to other cities and holiday destinations (in Europe).

What you'll be doing:

  • You're the go to person for our guests. You quickly respond to their requests via phone, e-mail, or chat.
  • You ensure a smooth operation, and you keep track of the housekeeping and check-in schedule to maximize efficiency.
  • You handle feedback and complaints from guests, and you turn this into great guest satisfaction by assisting where needed.
  • You're responsible for logistics, you make sure the linen and supply stock is sufficient, you are responsible for key management of our properties and inspect apartments on any flaws.
  • You will be personally checking in guests at certain property locations within the ring of Amsterdam.

The most interesting part of the job? The diversity! Of course, there is a daily routine, but we can guarantee you that every day will be different! There's always something to do in this hands-on position.

In addition to salary and full-time employment, we offer the following:

  • Salary is 12.75 euro bruto per hour.
  • Contract for 7 months, with an extension for a year when both parties are happy:)
  • Holidays, 24 per annum pro-rato;
  • An extra day off on your birthday.
  • Monthly drink with the whole team, at the expense of the company.

Requirements

Who you are

  • You're hospitable, friendly and you have a flexible mindset;
  • You're stress resistant and a real go-getter;
  • You love guest contact;
  • You're organised and you keep the overview;
  • You like to bike and be outside an office from time to time.

What we're looking for

  • You have either have an intermediate vocational eduction (MBO) or professional eduction (HBO) level of thought and work, preferably in the tourism/hospitality field.
  • You have (some) work experience within customer service/hospitality service.
  • You have good command of English. A second language (preferably Dutch or German) in word and writing is considered a pré.
  • You will also be taking part in the emergency phone standby service.
  • If you have experience working in hotels or the holiday rental industry, this is a pré.

Please be aware that the position is based in The Netherlands. Therefore we are looking for candidates who are already living and eligible to work in The Netherlands.
